Fat Ergos began in the winter of 2016, when teammates Sam Weeks and Patrick Muto were deep into erg season at the University of Wisconsin. With 3 to 4 erg tests per week, they resorted to sarcastic humor to keep their spirits up, which led to the origin of Fat Ergos. What started as a joke among two friends has transformed into a rowing lifestyle.
